Corporate Overview
Hampton Data Services Ltd was established in 1991, as a data management company specialising in legacy data within the oil and gas industry. The success of the company within this industry has allowed Hampton to expand and diversify into providing a comprehensive range of software and service solutions in not only the oil and gas industry but other sectors as well including Local Government and Airline companies.
The aim of Hampton Data is to provide a complete customised data management solution involving Remote Data Capture, Data Conditioning, Electronic Data Archiving, Cataloguing and Indexing through to Document Management services within Data Management Projects.
Headquartered in the UK, with a growing number of worldwide offices, Hampton Data's experienced multi-lingual international team of data management specialists, data technicians, systems engineers and software developers are dedicated to customer service and technical support.
Hampton does not promote a "one size fits all" approach to data management. The appropriate strategy for bulk archiving of data differs from that required for preparing interpretation ready, qualified, data sets for the end user. However, whatever the job, Hampton believes that the right combination of expertise, technology and processes is required at the outset to ensure that money is spent wisely when preserving or adding value to data assets.
Having appropriately organised data is only part of the story, equally important is having the right tools for accessing and maintaining that data. Hampton’s HD GeoSCOPE is the answer; built using Intranet and related technologies, it allows today's project team to efficiently access the large volume and wide variety of information in order to make decisions effectively.
