HDS GeoSCOPE system was installed at the clients office in Central London and the IM/DM role was done by HDS remotely from its offices in South London. The system indexed all the data received from the client and asset owner, then applied Data Analytics so that all the data files could be classified in a virtual data taxonomy and linked to Wells, and surface facilities represented by a GIS.

HDS was commissioned to clean up the corporate physical data archive inventory database of content stored in the Iron Mountain data warehouse.

HDS GeoSCOPE was employed to perform the Indexation, Metadata Data Capture, Analytics for a US Oil Major as part of the clients data clean up and cataloguing requirements which covered a variety of assorted digital files. This contained nearly 70,000 digital files of which over 22,000 had distinct Cyrillic characters in their names. This data was in long complex file folders of which nearly 1000 such folders have Cyrillic content in the path. Some 1300 key distinct Cyrillic words were detected in the file paths.

Hampton Data Services Ltd was contracted to support, advise and implement an extensive QC and data capture workflow program in Lagos and Port Harcourt.

As part of a new company formation, the client obtained a large diverse 17Tb dataset, comprised of 170,000+ files including seismic, well and production data, subsurface models, facilities drawings, ROV surveys, to name a few.

HDS was engaged to provide data interrogation, organisation and management services to maximise value of the database.

HDS was contracted to support the data reconciliation, consolidation and conditioning into one database that could be securely accessed by multiple teams locally and remotely. The company was also required to provide ongoing data management services integrating new data with legacy data.

An optimised Field Re-Development Plan (FRD) needed to be implemented for an 80-year-old, 900+ well Oil/Gas Brownfield where large volumes of legacy digital and unindexed analogue data existed. Only 15% of historical production/injection data and 20% of the well logs data was available in digital form. Optimal EOR could only be done if all the historical production could be captured & databased and a new subsurface static model was created using all the well log data. 

A G&G Consultancy was engaged to perform a field reserves audit for 45 fields in 3 offshore blocks in SW Africa. The data delivered to the consultancy was a USB data disk with over 2 TB of data with 300,000 unstructured files and no catalogue or index.
