DIGITAL DATA CLEAN-UP - US OIL MAJOR

HDS GeoSCOPE was employed to perform the Indexation, Metadata Data Capture, Analytics for a US Oil Major as part of the clients data clean up and cataloguing requirements which covered a variety of assorted digital files. This contained nearly 70,000 digital files of which over 22,000 had distinct Cyrillic characters in their names. This data was in long complex file folders of which nearly 1000 such folders have Cyrillic content in the path. Some 1300 key distinct Cyrillic words were detected in the file paths.

BROWNFIELD REDEVELOPMENT - NATIONAL OIL CORPORATION

An optimised Field Re-Development Plan (FRD) needed to be implemented for an 80-year-old, 900+ well Oil/Gas Brownfield where large volumes of legacy digital and unindexed analogue data existed. Only 15% of historical production/injection data and 20% of the well logs data was available in digital form. Optimal EOR could only be done if all the historical production could be captured & databased and a new subsurface static model was created using all the well log data.
